7/13/08- Sorry I have not been able to add any new photos in a while.  I have been working out of town and I recently moved again.  I have however, aquired a great new camera; a Canon 40D.  I will now be shooting RAW images instead of jpeg and you should see a remarkable increase in quality of photos.  Hopefully I will be adding some new images within a few weeks.

6/03/08- I uploaded a bunch of new photos (14).  There are 4 new ones in the Adirondack gallery: 1 in waterways and 3 in other scenes.  5 new ones in Central NY: 1 in NY Scenics, 2 in Oneida Lake, and 2 in Lake Ontario.  Finally I added 5 to the avian gallery: 2 to waterfowl, and 3 to all others.  I really like some of these shots; hope you do as well.

5/21/08- Added a nice winter scene photo to the Adirondacks-Other Scenes gallery.  Also added a shot of a Ruffed Grouse to the Wildlife-avian-all others gallery.  Each photo is at the top of the page. 

5/19/08- I have been lucky enough for great sunsets and a great sunrise within the past three days.  Check out the NY-Oneida Lake Region for a sunset and sunrise photo I added today.  I also added a pair of wildlife photos: muskrat in the Wildlife-Mammals gallery, and Northern Harrier to the Wildlife-Avian-Birds of Prey gallery.  All of newest additions will be at the top of the first page.

5/12/08- After a week on crutches from a severely sprained ankle I have been out and about quite a bit with the camera.  My inadequate telephoto lens would not allow me to capture even half  of the great moments and creatures I have seen.  I did manage to capture a couple of good ones though through persistence.  I added a great turkey vulture photo to the Wildlife-avian-bird of prey gallery.  I also added an American Bittern shot to the Wildlife-avian-waterfowl gallery. You can find each at the top of their respective galleries.

4/28/08-  I added many new photos.  They are in Wildlife-reptiles and amphibians, Avian-all others, NY-Oneida Lake, and Wildlife-mammals.  I also deleted some photos that I did not feel were quite up to snuff and replaced the pitcher plant one with a better image (NY-scenics).  Remember that the newest additions are at the top of each page.

4/04/08-  Searching through some folders of images I have taken in the past few months, I found two I really liked.  They were both added to the NY Gallery.  One in the Water-Lake Ontario gallery, the other in the Scenics. 

3/31/08- I have better organized several categories.  I also added four photos (newest additions are at the top of each page).  One is in the Alaska, Glacier gallery.  Two are in the New York water gallery; one each in Oneida and Ontario Lakes galleries.  I also added a pic to the avian-waterfowl portfolio.  Check them out and enjoy.

3/02/08- I added seven new photos today.  All are in the Adirondack gallery: 4 to mountains, 2 forest scenes, and 1 to waterways.  It is quite a task carrying all of my photograpy equipment on top of my winter gear but these photos were well worth it.   I am having a hard time balancing photography with trying to complete my Adirondack winter 46.  I am at 27 after this weekend and I have only one more chance to get up there before winter is officially over.  After that I will be able to focus more on photography.  I hope you like them.

1/17/08- I have added four new photographs today.  I uploaded two photos to the central-upstate NY gallery.  One was taken this morning on Oneida Lake and a sunset from earlier this week.  I also added two Pine Grosbeak photos to the wildlife-avian gallery.  I also took those this morning.  I spent a couple of hours letting the grosbeaks get used to me and was able to work my way right up to them for wonderful photographic opportunities.  Enjoy!
